Artichoke Dip

2 lg. cans artichokes (or jars – drain marinade)
2 c. mayonnaise (I mix 1 c. Mayo & 1 cup Miracle Whip)
8 oz. Sour cream
1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Garlic powder (to taste)

Stir all ingredients to mix well. Pour into casserole dish (or pie plate). Top with extra Parmesan cheese. Bake 350 degrees 20-30 minutes. Dip will turn golden brown and bubble. Serve hot with Crackers or Pita Chips.

Sun-Dried Tomato Spread

Sun-Dried Tomato Spread


½ cup oil packed sun-dried tomatoes

8 oz. Cream Cheese

(Optional: Add ½ cup Feta Cheese for a Mediterranean flair)


Combine ingredients in a food processor until well blended. Serve at room temperature
with toasted Pita chips or crackers.

Creating the Recipe Book

As part of this blog, I want to share how I am using my Once Upon a Family products and ideas that relate to our mission.

I started these drafts before I went on the OUAF Leadership Retreat at the beginning of June. This is what we did. Everyone who wanted to brought a recipe card to share (one for all of us) and if they could also bring the actual food. I will be posting the two recipes that I brought along. It seems that the recipes that we share these days are not from Family but from Friends so I have been using my books for those recipes. I formated my recipes to fit on our Recipes cards and then hand wrote my name. 30 cards was way to many to write all of the recipe! I can also print out these cards and send to those I want to keep up with in the Love by the Month Envelopes.
